Our Residential Executive Action Learning program (REAL) will connect you with a network of like minded executives from similar organisations. The set will quickly become a trusted sounding board for discussing your ideas, concerns, and strategies.

Led by former Charity CEO and founder of Thinking Out Louder, Matt Robinson, the program incorporates proven coaching techniques allowing you to tackle real-time challenges alongside fellow leaders in the sector. 


Designed for executives like you, this fully residential* program provides 24-hours of focussed development away from the business as usual, four times a year.

The program fosters collaborative problem-solving, and facilitates meaningful discussions tailored to your unique challenge, ensuring you walk away with actionable insights that can drive immediate impact.

What's Included

Live Residential Launch

Session one of the REAL program starts with an overnight 'live' launch at a country UK hotel. The session will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to coach and be coached as part of the set.  Incorporating training as well as the opportunity to try your first set coaching. Starting at midday on day one wand finishing with a celebration lunch on day two, the launch includes all accommodation, training materials and meals.

Residential Sessions

The next three sessions take place quarterly. Starting midday with lunch we move into our group coaching sessions until 7pm. Discussions continue over dinner together in the evening. Next morning the remaining participants share  issues for resolution and we close with lunch together and final sessions early afternoon. There is usually an opportunity to informally network, or work from the hotel after lunch.

Keep the conversation going

Every set has access to its own online forum to share thoughts and ideas in between sessions. Share success, exchange useful materials, increase connection, get help with your projects 

Training request support

Development of the CEO is essential. We know from experience that the reporting arrangements of a CEO mean you have to document your development decisions a little more comprehensively than if you were signing off the same opportunity for a direct report. If you want support drafting a training case for your session, then we are happy to help.
